(A 23 year old pays a high price for trying to sneak a ride)….Calexico Police say Rigoberto Montoya apparently crossed into the United States illegally Wednesday. He reportedly spotted a Big Rig, without a trailer, parked near the border in the 300 block of 2^nd Street and Montoya reportedly decided to sneak a ride. He allegedly hid between the spare tire and the hitch on the rig. When the driver got back into his truck he reportedly did not see Montoya. As the rig drove off, Montoya apparently fell from his hiding place, and was run-over by the rig’s back tires. The man suffered a broken leg and cuts and bruises. Police say he was complaining of severe pain in his back and left side. Montoya was taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment.
