21-year-old dies from stab wound

(Stabbing turns into homicide investigation)…Emergency services personnel were called to a house in the 300 block of Camacho Road in Calexico early Friday . When they arrived, they found 21 year old Kevin James Rodriguez. He was unresponsive, and suffering a stab wound to the head. Rodriguez was immediately flown to Palm Desert Medical Center for treatment. Calexico Police Sergeant Gonzalo Gerardo says the victim died from the stab wound Saturday. The news changed the investigation into a homicide investigation. No suspect has been arrested, but his alleged accomplice is in custody. Investigators say 33-year-old Carlos Osuna is being held on charges of aiding and abetting in the crime. Investigators have not said what would have motivated somebody to stab Rodriguez in the head.
