(El Centro man rescues Brawley woman)…The California Highway Patrol says 20 year old Vanessa Uribe lost control of her vehicle Saturday and it rolled into a canal on Austin Road. The C H P says 40 year old Marc Andrew Valenzuela was driving in the same direction. Valenzuela stopped his vehicle and pulled Uribe out the driver side window of her vehicle. Paramedics reportedly used Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and a defibrillator to revive Uribe, before transporting her to the hospital. The woman was flown to University of California Hospital in San Diego, where her condition was last reported as critical.
