(Roadmap to recovery status)…It is a public reminder.

The County reminds the public that the county remains in Stage 2, Lower risk, also known as Stage 2A, under the Roadmap to Recovery, under guidelines established ion the California Resilience Roadmap by Governor Gavin Newsom. Retail Businesses, office workplaces, places of worship, children and pet grooming facilities are authorized to open with modifications. Businesses to remain closed until further notice include dine-in restaurant, bars and nightclubs, entertainment venues, gyms and fitness studios, public vents, hair and nail salons, and tattoo parlors. County Health Officer Doctor Stephen Munday says it is important for the public to remember that Imperial County residents and to continue practice social distancing because we continue to experience widespread transmission of COVID 19. While other counties are opening up, Imperial County is not. Munday said The Public Health Department is committed to prioritizing the public’s health and safety as they respond to the pandemic.
