(Freedom Fest 2013 is right around the corner)…The County Board of Supervisors will get an update Tuesday. The Board will also discuss working with another Workforce Investment Board. A Memorandum of Understanding is being put together with the South Bay Workforce Investment Board Inc., for provisions of needed employment and training services for dislocated workers. The Supervisors will discuss an amendment to the Cooperative Agreement with Cal Trans. Public Works Director William Brunet wants to request Cal Trans install traffic signals at the intersection of Highway 86 and Dogwood Road. The Supervisors convene their weekly meeting at 8:30 Tuesday morning in the Administration Building on Main Street in El Centro.
