The number of active COVID-19 cases in Imperial County continues to grow.
The Imperial County Public Health Department updated the results of COVID-19 testing in the Valley. As of Monday evening there are now 876 total positive cases of the virus and 529 currently active. The number of positive cases jumped 76 from Monday morning numbers and the five cases also increased 76 over the same time frame. The increase came from 488 additional tests recorded. So far there have been 15 deaths in the county attributed to the novel coronavirus.
