Border Patrol agents at the Highway 86 checkpoint found a small amount of methamphetamine in a bag of chips.

The incident occurred Thursday morning when a Border Patrol K-9 team alerted to a Lexus. The car was sent to secondary inspection where agents found two small bags hidden inside a resealed bag of chips. The hidden bags contained meth. Further inspection found a small quantity of marijuana hidden in the car's console. The driver and her passenger , both U.S. citizens , were detained.
