(El Centro confirms agreement)…The City had announced plans to re-open businesses, closed because of the COVID 19 Pandemic.
Friday County representatives met with city staff. Following the meeting, it was announced everybody would be working together. The City of El Centro later issued a statement, agreeing with what had been released by the County. According to the agreement El Centro and the County would work with the other Cities around the Valley to phase in the reopening of local businesses, without jeopardizing the health and well being of County residents. The Plan agreed to is being called a Road Map and it is available on the County website. The Phase-in plan is also available on the County Public Health Department website.
