A woman was struck by a pick up truck near 5th and Brighton in El Centro.
The incident occurred at about 10:15 p.m. Friday. The woman was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center and then transferred to the trauma center at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. The accident remains under investigation.
