The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive HeatWatch for the Imperial Valley.
Temperatures Wednesday and Thursday are expected to reach as high as 109 in the Imperial and Yuma Valleys. Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue through the week. Mostly clear skies will prevail. Overnight lows will be near 70 and winds will be light. High temperatures will drop just a bit by the weekend.
