June 16th 2006 Volume 1 - Issue 2 | Election Night June 6th -.. The website endured a very strenuous test June 6t in an effort to provide live election returns to our website audience. As Gene was announcing the election results they were being faxed to the KXO offices so they could be published on the website within a few minutes. Traffic was intense; bandwidth analysis estimates that peak loads frequently were in excess of 800 sessions running simultaneously. This translates to 50 – 120 concurrent users on the website at the same time. We are already planning to increase server resources for the general election in November.
