IT TURNED OUT HIS BROTHER HAD A WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST. AFTER LEARNING THIS, THE SUSPECT, WHOSE REAL NAME IS JUAN RAMON SANCHEZ, TOOK OFF RUNNING. POLICE PURSUED THE SUSPECT TO A HOUSING COMPLEX, WHERE HE BROKE THE WINDOW OF A HOUSE AND ENTERED. IT TURNED OUT THE HOUSE WAS THE HOME OF HIS GIRLFRIEND. IN BREAKING THE WINDOW, HE CUT HIMSELF AND HAD TO BE TREATED AT PIONEERS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL.INSTEAD OF A SIMPLE SEATBELT VIOLATION, HE WAS TAKEN TO COUNTY JAIL CHARGED WITH PROVIDING OFFICERS WITH FALSE IDENTIFICATION, EVADING ARREST AND VANDALISM.
