Volume 1 - Issue 12

KXO Radio's Election coverage continues:

The Counting has not yet started)... County Clerk, Recorder, Registrar of Voters Dolores Provincio says her department is still processing and preparing the 5,100 absentee ballots left over from the mid-term elections. Provincio issued a statement Tuesday, saying her department has 28 days to canvass all the Ballots from the November 7th elections. She says the Absentee Ballots need to be processed and prepared before they are counted to ensure there are no duplications. She said after the Absentee Ballots are counted, then Election workers will start counting the Provisional Ballots. She said the process was long and arduous, and she understood is difficult on the candidates, but it was a process that needed to be followed. She estimated the actual counting might begin by the end of the week, with a final count some time next week.
