Salton Sea International Bird Festival

The 10^th Annual Salton Sea International Bird Festival will be held February 16th – 19th at the Imperial Valley Expo, Imperial, California Tours will be available for both beginning and advanced birders. There are over 400-recorded species in the area and up to 100 species per day can be seen. 

On Saturday, between 10:00 and 2:00PM, the Bird’s Nest will feature fun activities for children such as Making Bird Feeders, Identifying Bird Feathers; Sky Hunters Bird Show. These activities are FREE.  Vendors will be available with neat stuff and information.

Free seminars on the Restoration of the Salton Sea, Summer Birds of the Salton Sea, Local Environmental Success in the Desert and Birding by Ear will be given on Saturday and Sunday between 1:30 and 3:00 PM.
