(Arson suspected in early morning fire)…El Centro Fire Captain Alex Romero says the call came in at 1:00 Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported at the old Puerto Nuevo Restaurant, in the 800 block of Adams Avenue. No damage estimate was given, but the Captain says the abandon building was totaled. There were no injuries. El Centro Fire investigators are being assisted by the El Centro Police Department in the investigation. Romero would not say how the fire was started, but he did say it could have been nothing else, other than arson. |
