(Natural Gas Leak Friday)....It was reported at around 9:15 Friday morning.

El Centro Poilice and Fiure responded to the call. They blocked traffic along 8th Street, between Adams Avenue and Stacy. A search resulted in the discovery of the leak in the 700 block of Woodward. A resident was digging in his backyard and ruptured a gas line. Residents on both sides of the house in question were evacuated. So Cal gas was called. The rupture was repaired. By 11:45 am the evacuations were lifted and all streets were opened. There were no injuries reported
