(Agents seize liquid meth)....It happened recently at the Border Patrol Checkpoint on Highway 111.

A Freightliner semi-truck entered the checkpoint and was sent to the secondary inspection area. A Border Patrol K-9 Detection Team alerted to the semi. Agents visually inspected the fuel tanks on both the drivers side and the passenger side. They noticed a cloudy liquid below the clear fuel liquid. The dense, cloudy liquid tested positive for Crystal Methamphetamine. Due to the volitile nature of liquid meth, the agents were unable to determine how much was in the fuel tanks. The driver of the rig, a 25 year old lawfully admitted permanent resident and the semi containing the narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
