(Calexico reorganization)...It will remain as is.

The Calexico City Council reorganizes in July. All other City Councils in Imperial County reorganize at the end of the year or in January. This week the Calexico City Council discussed moving up their reorganization, bringing it more in line with the other cities in the county. The move would have cut short the term of Rosie Fernandez as Mayor. The motion did not pass. The Council voted 3-2 to keep the reroganization schedule for Calexico as it is.
