The Yuma County Sheriff's Office made a major drug bust Wednesday.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 8400 block of Yavapai Lane at about 10:53 a.m. Wednesday. The initial call was about a possible domestic disturbance but during the course of the investigation narcotics were discovered in the residence. The Yuma County Narcotics Task Force responded with a search warrant and then discovered multiple packages of methamphetamine. The total weight of the meth was a bit over 66 pounds and has an estimated street value of more than $600,000. Twenty-seven year old Alejandro Corona of Yuma was arrested and charged with Transportation of Dangerous Drugs , Possession of Drugs for Sale , Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
