(State agrees to move the DMV office)....The City of Brawley had requested the move.

The City had approached Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia. The City asked for his assistance to convince the State Department of Motor Vehicles a new, larger DMV office was needed in Brawley. Their eforts wre successful, and the state has agreed to relocate the Brawley DMV office. The new office will improve the quality of service for residents by accommodating additional transaction trminals, increased parking, and will ensure American with Disabilities Act compliance. The new location will be announced at a press conference Wenesday to be held at the City of Brawley Administrative Office on Main Street in Brawley.
