(Report on the State Propositions)...There were 12 on the ballot Tuesday.

The state has released an update on the propositions with 99% of the state precincts reported. Prop 14, th Bonds to continue Stem Cell Research passed. Prop 15 did not. That was the property tax to fund schools and government services. Prop 16, affirmative action in Governmnt decisions failed. Propositio9n 17, to restore ri9ght to vote after a prison term was approved. Prop 18 the 17 year old Primary Voting rights, failed. Proposition 19 was approved. That is the proposition to change certain tax rules. Propisition 20 did not pass. That proposition dealt with paroile restrictions for certain offenses. Prop 21 also failed. That was the proposition to expand government's authority to rent control. Proposition 22 passed. That is the app based drivers and emplo0yee benefits. Prop 23 did not pass. That proposition dealt with state requirements for kidney dialysis clinics. Voters approved Proposition 24, to amend consumer privacy laws. and proposition 25 failed. The proposition eliminates money bail system
