(Seven more rescued)…It was early Sunday morning.

The El Centro Sector Border Patrol received a distress call Saturday night. A man said he and his group had entered the US illegally about 40 miles west of Calexico. He said they were lost and out of water. Border Patrol agents and the Sector’s Mountain Disrupt Unit began the search, using GPS coordinance from the phone call. They were found early Sunday morning in the Jacumba Wilderness area. All seven were given water and checked for injuries. They were then taken for processing. It was determine the six male adults and one female adult were all from Mexico. After they were processed they were deported back to their country of origin.
