(PMH gets much needed help)…The Brawley Hospital said more staff was needed

. On Wednesday officials at Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District said the hospital was prepped to handle more COVID 19 patients, but needed additional staff to accommodate the sudden increases. Thursday additional support staff arrived. Support staff from the National Guard arrived. The Team includes 14 registered nurses and emergency medical technicians. On Thursday the new Support Team went through the onboarding process. On Friday, they were on the job. The support team is expected to remain at PMH for the next 2-4 weeks while the hospital builds up its staffing to meet the needs of the community.
