Governor Gavin Newsom issued his budget revisions Thursday.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic major revisions and adjustments are being made to the state budget for 2020-21. The possibility of 10% salary cuts and furloughs for state employees was put on the table. The governor does propose to keep the $28 million budget for the New River Improvement Project and the May revision also includes an allocation of $19.3 million from Proposition 68 funds for the Salton Sea Management Plan.
