(Single vehicle collision)…It was reported at 5:23 Wednesday morning.

The California Highway Patrol says the vehicle was traveling on Interstate 8, west of the Highway 98 Y. The vehicle collided in the construction area, coming to rest in the median. The CHP says the vehicle was missing the left front wheel. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident. There were no injuries reported.
