El Centro Police are investigating an accident that occurred last night.

The accident was reported at about 6:23 p.m. in the 1500 block of Cruickshank Street in El Centro. A pedestrian was struck by a car abd sustained major injuries. The victim was airlifted from the scene. No further information is available at this time. The accident remains under investigation.
