Woman's death may be drug related

(Heber woman dies early Wednesday morning.)…38-year-old Nacalena Jackson had been transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center.

The County Coroners office says she was pronounced dead at around 6:00 in the morning. Deputy Coroner Steven Green was called to investigate. His initial report is that the woman may have died as a result of an over-dose. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. It is likely toxicology tests will be required. If that is the case, results could take 6-8 weeks before they are returned from the forensic lab.
