(County Board of Supervisors)…They meet Tuesday morning.
This week the Board will discuss sending a letter of support to the US Senate and House Appropriations, as well as Senators Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris and Congressman Juan Vargas. The County wants them to support next phase funding for the Calexico Port expansion and reconfiguration project in the fiscal year 2021 federal budget. The Board will discuss the formation and approval of the Public Benefit Community Scholarship Program. They will also discuss an Agricultural Benefit Program Loan Agreement with Imperial CBD Extraction in an amount not to exceed $600,000. The Board convenes into public session at 10:00 am in the Board Chambers at the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro.
