The City of Brawley has received a $12.7 million grant from the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities ( AHSC ) Program.

A ceremony will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Brawley City Council Chambers. The grant , the first in Imperial County from AHSC , will allow the City of Brawley to develop the Ocotillo Spring Project , a net-zero energy affordable housing with sidewalks , bikeways and van pool connectivity.
