(Colorado River Citizens Forum)…It will be held January 22nd.
This month the meeting will be held at the Yuma County Development Services, 2351 West 26th Street. The meeting will begin at 4:00 pm, Arizona time. The Forum will begin with introductions from Anna Morales, Area Operations Manager with the US International Boundary and Water Commission, and Citizens Forum Co-chair. Don Barnett, Executive Director of the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program, will discuss the program and how it could reduce downstream damages by millions of dollars. Noe Santos, P.E., Civil Engineer, Boulder Canyon Operations Office, US Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin Region, will deliver a System Update and Outlook on the Colorado River Basin. There will be Board Discussion, followed by suggested future agenda items. The public is welcome to attend the Citizens Forum.
