The National Weather Service forecast shows a quick moving storm will move around the Imperial Valley.

The storm from the Pacific Northwest will bring winds to the Valley Thursday night into Friday morning. The west winds are predicted at around 15 miles per hour with gusts as high as 20 mph. No precipitation is expected. This storm will bring a chance of rain and patchy fog to the mountains between the Valley and San Diego Thursday night and early Friday. Winds in the mountains are forecast from 15 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 35 mph. Original forecasts had called for much stronger winds and more rain but the has been revised.
