El Centro police recovered a stolen car Saturday morning.
At about 9:15 a.m. Saturday an El Centro Police officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1000 block of Oleander Avenue. It turns out the car had been reported stolen. Two people were detained following the traffic stop and one of them was subsequently booked into Imperial County Jail on charges of stealing the car.
