(IID Board meeting)…It will be held Tuesday, January 7th.
It will be the Imperial Irrigation District Board of Director’s first meeting of the New Year. It will also be the first meeting led by new Board President Norma Sierra Galindo. During the meeting the Board will be asked to adopt a resolution honoring outgoing Board President Erik Ortega. Also at the meeting President Galindo is expected to announce her appointments to various boards and organizations. Later in the meeting IID Attorney Frank Oswalt will provide an update surrounding the Abatti vs. IID litigation. The IID Board begins the Tuesday meeting at 8:30 am, taking public comments before convening into closed session. The Board will reconvene in regular session at 1:00 Tuesday afternoon. The meeting will be held in Condit Auditorium on Broadway in El Centro.
