(Unemployment in Imperial County, down slightly)…The latest numbers were released Friday.
The Labor Market Information Division of the Employment Development Department says the jobless numbers for November come in at 20.6 percent. That is down from a revised 21.1 percent reported in October, and above the year ago estimate of 18.7 percent. This compares with an unadjusted rate of 3.7 percent for California and 3.3 percent for the nation during the same period. In November there were 15,300 eligible workers unemployed out of a labor force of 74,300.
