(Assemblyman to pass out toys)…Assemblyman Eduardo Eduardo Garcia will be in the County Friday.
He will join IBEW Local 569. They will spend the afternoon distributing toys collected by the local. At 1:00 pm they will be at IBEW offices in Imperial sorting and packing toys. At 2:00 pm they are scheduled to drop off toys at the Calexico Family Resource Center to benefit Amigos De Alejandro. At 2:45 pm they will drop of toys at Johnsons Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church on Hamilton in El Centro. They will then be off to Brawley to drop off toys at Campesinos Unidos at 3:45 pm, and the final toy drop off will be at the Calipatria-Niland Resource Center in Calipatria. That drop will be at 4:45 pm. The Community Groups and local non-profit agencies will distribute the toys to children in need.
