(Imperial City Council)…They will hold their last meeting of the year.
The meeting will be held Wednesday. The Council goes into closed session at 6:30 pm. Open session begins at 7:00 pm. The Council meets in the Council Chambers at 200 West 9th Street in Imperial. During this week’s meeting the City Council is expected to name City Attorney Dennis Morita as the Interim City Manager. The Council will also reorganize, selecting a new Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem for 2020. The Council will recognize outgoing Mayor Robert Amparano for his tenure during the 2019 calendar year.
