The National Weather Service ( NWS ) says we will be getting a change in the weather.

A couple of weather systems are expected to bring the possibility of widespread rain and even isolated thunderstorms to the Imperial and Yuma Valleys. The rainfall could begin as early as Tuesday night and continue through Friday. Rain totals could be between .10 to .50 inches with totals higher east of the lower  Colorado River Valley. Temperatures will trend much cooler as well with highs Tuesday near 80 , Wednesday near 72 and Thursday and Friday near 70. Overnight lows will range from the mid- to upper 40's.
