The National Weather Service says the Imperial Valley get some wind and blowing dust through Monday night.

The NWS forecast calls for an atmospheric pattern that is quite favorable for strong and possibly severe storms to the east of the Imperial Valley Sunday into Monday but those storms should stop at the Colorado River. NWS says there is a slight chance they could push into the heart of the Imperial Valley. There is a 20% chance of precipitation forecast for Labor Day with showers and thunderstorms possible. High temperatures will remain in the 105 degree range with overnight lows in the lower 80's. Higher humidity will remain in the Valley for most of the week.
