(Congressman coming to the Valley)… Congressman Juan Vargas will be in El Centro Thursday.
Vargas will be at the Clinicas De Salud Del Pueblo at 10:30 Thursday morning. He will announce the introduction of the Asthma Care and Prevention in Rural Communities Act. The legislation will create a funding program to address the burden of high rates of child asthma in rural and underserved communities. Vargas will deliver his comments in the Board room on the 2nd floor of the Clinicas De Salud, 842 East Danenberg Drive in El Centro. The Congressman will be joined by local healthcare stakeholders and Clinicas De Salud Del Pueblo Board Chairman Rusty Garcia.
