(Dive Team will not be reinstated)…The Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors discussed the issue Tuesday.
The Board decided on a 3-2 vote not to reinstate the team. The Dive Team has been inactive since a tragic death in October. The Directors agreed to not reinstate the team, saying the IID should not have a search and rescue team. They agreed that they will disband the Team at a later meeting.
