The City of El Centro says that La Brucherie Avenue will be open to traffic this Friday.
The widening project has been substantially completed and this week , street lights will be placed along the widened corridor , underground manhole and valve covers will be raised to the new roadway surface, and striping along La Brucherie Avenue , from Orange Avenue to Barbara Worth Avenue , will be completed.
Other work will continue with re-establishing the northbound roadway grades to meet the new curbs and gutters along La Brucherie Avenue between Adams and Barbara Worth.
