(Suspect in Camarena murder arrested in Mexico)…He was taken into custody in Mexicali.
He was turned over to US authorities at the Calexico Port of Entry Wednesday. 77 year old Ezequiel El Guero Godinez-Cervantes is a convicted drug trafficker once charged with murdering to US residents in Mexico and once implicated in the killings of DEA agent Enrique KIKI Camarena and several other Americans. The Texas native and former member of the now defunct Guadalajara Cartel, was wanted by US Authorities since October, when he allegedly violated his probation for a decades old federal conviction on a prison escape charge. The FBI had located Godinez and informed Mexicali Police as to his location. They arrested him, and turned him over to US authorities.
