The National Weather Service warns an approaching weather system will bring gusty winds and a slight chance of rain.

The gusty winds will begin to increase this afternoon over southeast California and expand eastward into Arizona by tomorrow. The wind is expected to reach 15 to 20 miles per hour this afternoon with gusts as high as 25mph. West winds will continue tonight with gusts up to 30 miles per hour. On Tuesday west winds can be expected at 15 to 20 miles an hour in the morning , increasing to 25 to 30 miles per hour in the afternoon and peaking with gusts up to 45 miles per hour. There is also a slight chance of some sprinkles across the Imperial and Yuma Valleys. Wednesday will se a return to near normal conditions.
