(Women’s Leadership Conference and Artists’ Reception)…It is Thursday evening.
It is presented by the City of Calexico and the Calexico Chamber of Commerce. It is part of Women’s History Month. The National Theme this year is Visionary Women; Champions of Peace and Non-Violence. The Women In Art Exhibit opens at 4:00 pm. The conference, which is being held at the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center, begins at 6:00 pm. The speakers include Anna Lisa Pacheco, The Honorable Rosie Fernandez, Mary Medina, Gloria Romo, Marina Ramirez Ponce, Flor Guzman, Vyvyan Sanchbraj, Clarissa Teran and Gloria Grijalva. At 7:30 it will be Astrid and Andrea Ruelas Classical Music Concert
