(Investigation ends in arrest)….A 21 year old El Centro man was taken into custody.
The Brawley Police Department and the Imperial Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which is led by Homeland Security Investigations unit, concluded a criminal rape investigation with the arrest of 21 year old Brandon Antonio Young of El Centro. The alleged rape incident reportedly took place in 2018. Young was arrested after investigating officers made arrangements to meet with him at Cattle Call Park. Young was traken into custody without incident and booked into County Jail on charges of rape by force, statutory rape, sexual extortion, possession of child pornography, and engaging in solicitation of child pornography.
