(Calexico goes to court)…The City is seeking an injunction against the Santo Tomas Swap Meet.
The litigation claims the swap meet is operating illegally. They claim Santo Tomas has failed inspections since last year, including up until the fire in December that destroyed several vendor locations. The City of Calexico is asking the Swap Meet cease operations until deficiencies are addressed. The issue is expected to be discussed at this week’s Calexico City Council meeting.
