El Centro Police are investigating a traffic accident that occurred Tuesday morning.
According to the ECPD report , a child on a bicycle was struck by a truck at the intersection of 8th Street and Orange Avenue. The child was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center and then transferred by air ambulance to a facility out of the Valley. According to information , the injuries sustained by the child do not appear to be life-threatening. The accident remains under investigation.
