Two traffic accidents have slowed the Tuesday morning commute for many.
At 2:56 a.m. Tuesday a big rig overturned on Highway 115 near Kavanaugh Road. The driver received minor injuries. The roadway is closed for an extended time period as crews clean up a hazardous material spill. Traffic is being diverted on to Miller Road temporarily.
At 5:30 a.m. Tuesday , a two vehicle collision at Highway 111 and Even Hewes Highway resulted in minor injuries but also damaged the signal light for the northbound 111 turn lane onto westbound Even Hewes. The turning lane is closed while repairs are being made.
