Who says there's nothing to do in the Imperial Valley. This weekend is going to bring non-stop action.

Registration for the Imperial Valley Junior Trout Fishing Derby kicks-off at 6:00 a.m. Saturday at Sunbeam Lake in Seeley. Fishing starts at 7:00 a.m. and there will be lots of prizes for young anglers. The event is sponsored by the Imperial County Fish and Game Commission , The California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Kiwanis Club of El Centro. Fishing is open to kids 15 and under. 

The Imperial Valley Lions Clubs present Aviation Day at the Imperial County Airport. It runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday. One of the highlights of Aviation Day are free airplane flights for kids. 

The 22nd Annual Dunes Clean Up is also set for Saturday morning starting at 8:00 a.m. Sign ups will be at Glamis Flats and Gordon's Well. 

Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. it's Beer Fest to benefit the El Centro Police Athletic League. There will be lot's of microbrew and craft beers available for tasting. It takes place at the PAL building on North 4th Street in El Centro.

Mostly Theater Company will present " A Wing and a Prayer " Saturday evening at the St. Mary's School multipurpose room on South Waterman Avenue in El Centro. It's an audience participation who-done-it dinner theater.

Downtown Imperial will host Market Days Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. There will be fresh produce , entertainment and fun.

Oh , by the way , on Sunday the Imperial Valley Desert Museum will present an event from 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. It's called Total Lunar Eclipse and Stargazing and it will hosted by Mike Rood. It's free.
