The California Highway Patrol says 73-year-old Donald Baker was driving a Dodge Charger West on the Interstate. The CHP says the driver reached to adjust the visor in the vehicle. The Charger drifted off the roadway and rolled into a ditch. The vehicle landed on the driver’s side door. Imperial County Fire used the Jaws of Life to remove Baker from the vehicle. He was flown to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment of neck and back injuries. The Highway Patrol says they are continuing to investigate the incident.
